A continuation of study from the same project as squares. Using front and back a transparencies of time and space to create a dream like illusion of an implied space and an inkling of an event. It may be important and it may not even exist.
This is a dry point etching from 2013. It is a limited edition of 25. This is an ongoing research of the implications of city and architecture. Looking at the way world fairs build cities and massive grounds to be deconstructed after an event. A beautiful escape of reality to be taken away so soon. Captivated by the Chicago Worlds Fair City that was built of Plaster and was a beacon of clean in a newly industrialized city creates a fascinating thought process of what reality can become, what types of industries can be created, and how a general population excepts this as an ok form of existence. Instead of demanding better living situations and infulstructure
